Review for Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue, Los Angeles, CA, USA
As a volunteer for GRCGLARescue, I see the amazing work these volunteer do. Recently, we have had several pups who came into rescue with major medical issues. Fortunately, with the help of our vets and volunteers we were able to nurse these dogs back to health and found them wonderful forever homes. I personally have adopted 6 goldens from GRCGLARescue, one is currently a certified therapy dog going on visits to seniors centers and working with children with special needs.
Review for Stupid Cancer, New York, NY, USA
I wish that I'm Too Young for This had been around when my sister was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 35, she fought for 4 years, ultimately losing the battle. At that time there were no groups for people her age, the doctors just keep saying "you're too young to have colon cancer", but she did. Approximately 3 years ago, my niece (her daughter) was diagnosed with cancer. I know that I'm Too Young for This has been invaluable to her. The support from everyone is unbelievable and the knowledge gained, is not available anywhere else.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
educate more people to the needs of the young adult population with cancer.
