Review for Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre, Ft Lauderdale, FL, USA
I have been fortunate enough to experience FLCT from many different perspectives: as a student when I was younger, as a spectator at their productions and as a mother of one of the performers. If you get a chance you should experience it for yourself, the shows are extremely professional and it is amazing when you think about the fact that all the performers are children ranging from 6-18 years of age.
There are many children that are on scholarship; in fact 55% of the summer campers received financial assistance to participate this summer. FLCT, like many others have lost several grants making it more challenging to assist families that would other wise not be able to give their children exposure to the theater.
If we were to help this organizations to maintain their programs we would be helping to ensure that these children always have the means of having arts and culture in their lives.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
FLCT is an amazing example of how one organization can make a difference in so many lives. Theater allows children to express themselves as individuals, and nurtures notions of acceptance, leadership, creativity and public speaking. These are qualities that will help them in their academic performance as well as molding them for their future achievements.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I feel that they do an amazing jobs with both their classes and their shows. I wouldn't change a thing. Keep up the great work!!!!
