Review for Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, Detroit, MI, USA
The Mosaic Youth Theater of Detroit is a wonderful program that allows students the opportunity to receive professional training and experience in the theatre arts. The majority of Mosaic's singers and actors are inner-city students with little or no arts opportunities in their schools. Mosaic welcomes and encourages diversity and focuses on educating and strengthening the talents of these individuals as well as entertaining the community and presenting elements of American and Detroit history through the many original productions they exhibit.

seeing the confidence gained by the young artists. The young artists learn how to work and perform with their peers and treat each other with respect and compassion. It is inspiring to watch these students grow through Mosaic's program and graduate with a strong sense of self, great appreciation of the arts, and a confidence to pursue their dreams.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
encourage more community involvement and make their presence even stronger. I believe that more schools need to be aware of Mosaic's program and present the opportunity to students in the suburbs who would greatly benefit from the experience.
