I first encountered MUD by shoveling llama manure for the annual sale--surprising how many people I've met in Missoula in similar circumstances! I've made great connections through volunteering with MUD and continue to do so as a board member.

it's ability to provide tools for sustainable living--just built a compost bin last fall w/help from the tool library.
