Review for The Gay Christian Network, Raleigh, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Gay Christian Network allows not only a safe place for gays but something more! They are naturally progressive through their feelings and experiences. They are driven by God in truth and light. This community of people does not hide themselves or seek refuge here.. They go out into the community raising awareness and breaking down walls people have set up. These wonderful people treat each other with respect and take their work in the church seriously.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They break down the walls of the church. They build people to become their own voice.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

open and friendly encouraging and engaging

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save gay youths from the harmful communities of homophobic churches. Allow their talented staff to speak to the world. Give Gay christians a loud and present voice in the church and in their community.

Ways to make it better...

We would of been their longer !

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money.. and acceptance in the church

One thing I'd also say is that...

They love what they do, and love helping people.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & I received a community of christians that have similar views as I do. I work at a church with one of the leaders, we ask the tuff questions and use our brain.
