The MWS is comprised of 65-70 talented woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists who audition for membership and seating. The ensemble contributes to the cultural life of the Greater Boston community by providing its audiences with high quality concerts and its members with opportunities for musical growth.

As a member of this exceptional ensemble for the past 12 years I have been exposed to a wide variety of literature and grown as a musician. The dedication of the board, membership and conductor is inspirational.

I would hope that we can discover new ways to increase our audience.
MY ROLE:
Board Member & As the outdoor concert coordinator, I was successful finding many different venues for MWS to perform at including Devens, Needham, Groton July fourth celebrations.
