Norma Calderon
Review for American Childrens Orchestras for Peace, Miami, FL, USA
I am a parent who came from Peru. Let’s be real, where else but in America can you go and have poor children get lessons by skilled and educated instructors for free. Especially in neighborhoods where most of the time people struggle to keep their lights.
My name is Norma Calderon and my three children attend this music program since 2005 ACOP music instructors become caring and supportive mentors to my children and others who desperately need positive role models.
Children’s activities include free music lessons in one-on-one and small-group sessions, group rehearsals, full orchestra rehearsals, and public orchestra concerts in non-school hours.
Everyone who reads this should be digging in their pocket to give something to help them.
Thanks!
Ms. Norma Calderon
