Review for Charity Music, Inc., Clinton Township, MI, USA
Charity music is an organization that I enjoy assisting on a regular basis. As public school programs begin to lose funding for arts programs, students can no longer be provided free instruments to participate. The thought, "If you can't afford to be in band, you can't be in band" is not acceptable on any level. Any child not allowed to be in a band program because they can't afford an instrument is unfair and detrimental to a child's self esteem; making a child feel like they do not belong. Charity Music can change the lives of these kids dramatically and give them a chance to participate and feel accepted. Charity Music has the potential to expand on a statewide level with the right assistance from the community.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Currently Charity Music has provided instruments to hundreds of needy children in Macomb and Wayne County. They have support from Michigan's top Music Educators. These educators spend time providing classes and lessons to young people that cannot afford it. They are also beginning to expend music learning programs to homeless and troubled youth.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Changes are not necessary but with the proper community support and involvement, I feel Charity Music can improve faster and reach all of it's goals.
