St. Peter's Homes-McCreech Place was the first SRO for homeless men developed and operational in Charlotte. There have been other organizations to follow with additional supportive housing for the homeless, but McCreech Place is still the "beacon". The first addition to the orginal structure is now underway.

Board Member & volunteer and board meber for several agencies dealing with homelessness and chaired the first strategic plan for homelessness in Charlotte/Mecklenburg (2002).
