Adopt A Family of Marin

I have been a Board member of Adopt A Family of Marin for 18 years. It has been a rewarding and enriching experience that exemplifies the concept, that a few dedicate people can make a change in the lives of families in crisis. From the beginning, where Board members made difficult decision which determined which family would receive the limited funds available, to today, with the number of families served exceeding 800 annually, there can be little doubt as to the effectiveness of this organization.

Expand the capabilities of the organization to serve more families. Develop an exportable, turn key, model that can be adopted outside of our area of service. Find an effective method of telling our story, of how early intervention, pre homelessness, is a cost efficient and effective methodology that is proven to provide a positive outcome in families lives.
Board Member & I am actively involved in keeping families with children in their homes during times of crisis.
