I have contributed to Lazarus Ministries for several years because I value the efforts they make to improve the lives of the downtown Kansas City community. On several occassions I have particpated in worship services, volunteered to serve meals, or just "hung around" witnessing the comings and goings of the other volunteers, staff, and recepients of support.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
reading the newsletter and hearing about all the various activities occuring on a regular basis. I have also talked to many Sojourners and heard first hand how much the support of Grand Avenue Temple and Lazarus Ministries means to them.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
find a way to get more them more money! And figure out a way to get a volunteer to be on call occassionally so the program directors aren't working 24/7 365 days a year.

Donor & I make a monthly donation and I volunteer when I can.
