My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Interfaith Community Services, Tucson, AZ, USA
I take two elderly sisters who live in my neighborhood grocery shopping every Sunday. It takes a couple of hours but their positive outlook on life and the wonderful stories they tell about their careers and life in Tucson make it a total joy. They always tell me how much they appreciate my service and show it by donating food to our Food Bank. I understand that I am one of 85 Interfaith Community Services volunteers providing transportation and shopping assistance to seniors and disabled Pima County residents. It does my heart good to think of the difference we're making in our community!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my volunteer work for Interfaith Community Services. As grateful as the two elderly sisters are for the rides I give them to grocery stores, the good feelings I get connecting with them are the only incentive I need. Interfaith Community Services is conducting an information session and volunteer orientation at the public library in my neighborhood this weekend to reach more seniors and recruit more volunteers.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
do more outreach to recruit more volunteers and serve more seniors and expand the ICS Food Bank to better serve the growing number of Pima County residents who need help.
