Review for Burma Lifeline, Boulder, CO, USA
This is a wonderful organization founded by a woman who lived in Burma before the military junta seized the govt. 48 years ago. She now lives in Boulder. Colorado and runs the non-profit from here. They support Burmese refugees who live in camps in Thailand including 400 Burmese orphans who are provided with schooling. Donations help support 4 clinics serving more than 7,000 refugees who have managed to escape from Burma and who are stateless.

The organization sends out a newsletter annually with the appeal for funds and lists all the projects that have been provided to these refugees in the prior year.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
It is run locally at a minimum expense. The fundraising is minimal and mainly word of mouth or through the annual newsletter. The niece of the founder co-ordinates the funding for projects in Thailand.
