I've had the opportunity to work with St. Annes Center on a professional level over the last 3 years and during that time I have been extremely impressed with the way they manage their day to day operations. St. Annes puts the client's needs and well being in front of every decision they make. I had the chance to volunteer in their kitchen and witnessed the caring and friendly nature the staff at St. Annes has for their clients. They treat everyone as an important individual, an action that is much needed, yet seldom expressed in the lives of many residence at the center. They have done an amazing job adjusting to the growing needs in the community and have proven over and over to be a valuable partner in our community.

I've been invited to present financial literacy to their clients and have witnessed the genuine care and concern from the the staff of St. Annes Center for all of their clients. Their case managers are working hard to develop relationships of trust with their clients as well as with other organizations in the community all with the best interest of their clients in mind. I have volunteered serving lunch at St. Annes and saw first hand how this organization treats each client with dignity and friendship.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Expand their capacity as there is a growing need in our community for their services. I would look to add laundering services to provide for additional reoccurring needs with their clients.
MY ROLE:
Professional with expertise in this field & I've partnered in teaching financial literacy to their clients, as well as assisting in workforce development activities to help with the client's pursuits of employment.
