Review for Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA), Tempe, AZ, USA
The standards and rules are never met, just last week, almost half of the guest were clearly under the influence of some street drug, complaints are never looked over. I have been there for three years, and there are the same people in the program, Timelines are not even close to being met. There needs to be a push for people to better there lives, and there is no push. This program does not help, it enables people to stay Homeless !, There is no need for a person to be in the program for longer than six months.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I was in the i-help program, and when i got my life in order, i wanted to give back, Three years ago
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I love this program, but changes need to be made, The guy who's in charge "sam", needs to go,and the people who are chronic, need to be told to go some where else, Three years is way to long, the city is just throwing away money. The major change would be the timeline six months and that is it!, and you need to be productive during your stay.
Thank you for your comments (Jvon and Flower). The IHELP Program does have case management services and anyone can stay in the program, but they do have to speak with our case manager after a certain amount of time (usually after being in the program from 3-6 months) to talk about future goals. People have been asked to leave the program for not working on a life skills plan. The program is funded primarily by donations from the community.
