My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for HomeAid America Inc, Irvine, CA, USA
I have been volunteering my time with HomeAid America for 8 months and in that time it has impacted my life on so many levels. I have formed new relationships, made countless connections, expanded my professional experience, and most importantly been given the opportunity to give back. HomeAid is committed to providing housing for today's homeless and has built 200 shelters nationwide. Working side by side with the CEO and many others in the organization I have witnessed and felt their dedication. When I was given the opportunity to attend a building dedication I witnessed first hand how HomeAid saves lives. As an intermediary between builders and service providers HomeAid doesn't get to experience the day to day contact with those they help. But through charity events, housing dedications, and builds it all comes to fruition. It's moments like hearing some the stories of those who have escaped homelessness and touring the housing facilities that I will never forget.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my volunteer work.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
As a volunteer who has been given an opportunity to work such a great organization I am in no position to say what changes should be made. They make great efforts to see their mission through and have been very successful. And through my work I have witnessed them address areas of improvement and continually strive to improve so that they may help as many people as possible.
