Review for UCP Central PA, Camp Hill, PA, USA
As both a volunteer and a client served by UCP of Central PA, I feel privileged to be a part of this organization. UCP has always been there for me. As a college student, I interned at the local office and found great joy in doing so. This is an essential organization for so many!
Review for UCP Central PA, Camp Hill, PA, USA
I worked as intern for UCP of Central PA for the last two summers. I must say both internships were quite rewarding experiences. Not only was I included at every staff meeting during my stint at UCP, but also I was made to feel like I was an essential part of the team. I felt like my thoughts and opinions were deeply considered and appreciated when expressed. Both internships gave me great confidence in myself and to be expose to the working world. I saw I could make a difference in the lives of individuals, some who have disabilities similar to my own, mainly through my words.

If I had a chance to make changes to this organization, I would advertise UCP more, so individuals were aware and could reap its benefits. UCP is a sanctuary where clients can follow their dreams; whatever they may be!

Review for UCP Central PA, Camp Hill, PA, USA
The most significant benefit of my relationship with United Cerebral Palsy, I think, is to live independently, (with the help of my Mom and attendants, of course), and receive a college education. United Cerebral Palsy’s help proves that I can do anything with my life, even live in a dorm, not especially designed for individuals who have physical limitations. I never thought this possible before my involvement with the United Cerebral Palsy organization. Opportunities are limitless for those who are involved with the program. The receiver needs to have an open mind, though. Wildest dreams are possible with perseverance, self-motivation, faith in yourself and others’ faith in your abilities. United Cerebral Palsy continuously helps me to reach my goals; and with every success in my life, I am grateful to them.
