Art Studio Inc
September 23, 2010

Art Studio Miami is a truly great place. They help children find expression and greater self-awareness and realization of their value and importance through art in an area that is challenged economically and in other ways as well. They create and develop incredibly strong relationships with children through art that reach far deeper into their experience than simply drawing or painting. The expressions on the kids faces as they are creating their works and then the pride in their finished projects - its is truly great to see. It is inspirational. And they are making a difference every day in the lives of their kids and how they perform outside of the art room as well.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Seeing the way the kids create art and seeing how these same children are connected to the art program through their daily education at Jesse McCrary Elementary School.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make sure they had more funds to be able to help more children.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The connection with the kids and the staff that works there.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

professional, kind and dedicated - and very good at what they do.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do a lot! I will leave that to the managers to decide.

Ways to make it better...

They had more funds available to help more kids.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funds to expand.

One thing I'd also say is that...

They really make a difference in people's lives - both the the students as well as the volunteers.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
