From the moment you walk in the door and see Alexandra's smiling face to the various touches around the center, you know that here is a place that can help. During an emotional and heartrenching time you can finally come to a place that understands, a place that knows what you are going through and offers options that really make a difference it is a great comfort. From the volunteers to the paid staff this such a place.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
many ways. But, recently I spoke with a volunteer, who was manning the reception area and it occurred to me how not only those who are served here benefit but the volunteers do as well.
