Kristin Brooks Hope Center
June 11, 2010

My work with the Executive Director of the Hope Center has been nothing short of amazing. We have been on a long journey together to change the stigma of mental illness and help provide services to those in need. I've seen KBHC continually rise above challenges and deliver services in the best interest of the mental health consumer. I've seen the organization take difficult stances in regards to funding because it was the right thing to do - not because it was the most financially beneficial. You can be assured this organization is always making sacrifices and doing work on the behalf of those with any type of brain disease.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

meeting people that have worked with the hotlines, attending press conferences and visiting fundraising tours.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Provide additional resources - in funding, programs and staff.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the leadership.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Caring, compassionate and concerned.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

build a worldwide, online hot line (and give 5 million to iFred!).

Ways to make it better...

the field was well-funded and there was no stigma.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

One thing I'd also say is that...

It has been a tremendous pleasure and gift to have worked with the Executive Director.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Professional with expertise in this field & I've worked with The Hope Center a number of time on their initiatives.
