Review for Tapestry Health Systems, Inc., Florence, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Tapestry fills an important role in western MA where it meets the needs of a diverse group of men and women--bringing not only health care but values clarification.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have watched as Tapestry has created relationships with underserved people which has changed the lives of these young men and women.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Provide more money to allow them to serve more people.

Role:  Volunteer & Board member.

Review for Tapestry Health Systems, Inc., Florence, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The reason that I have been involved for so long and with ongoing energy is that the work of Tapestry is providing health care to those who are under served. This mission is very dear to me as I believe that health care is a right and that Tapestry has made that available to many people without any other access. Simultaneously Tapestry has advocated strongly on the state and national level to be sure that healthcare for women and HIV patients has continued to be available. The staff are dedicated to the mission and show that in all that they do especially in supporting the agency with excellent care to clients, advocating for services, and also in that they donate to the agency that they believe in.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

By watching the changes that have been made regularly to trim costs in order to provide services.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The dedication of the staff and board to challenge difficult issues.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Are dedicated competent and put the agency's clients first.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

fund clinics so that they were available in all communities and that all health needs were met and serve as a mentor agency to others across the country.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
