The AWBC advocates on behalf of and supports over 100 women's busines centers across the United States. Collectively, they serve over 145,000 clients annually - men as well as women - offering one-on-one counseling, peer group support, and entrepreneurial education programs. There is one in nearly every state, and they not only serve their clients, they stand as a welcoming beacon to those who might be thinking about starting a business but who do not know what to do or where to start. They'd do no better than to walk onto their closest WBC!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the faces of the women & men who have graduated from education programs & are launching their businesses - & from the women business owners who keep coming back to their WBC for more education & support, to teach classes, & to serve on the board.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the energetic and committed women working hard for very little money to help economically empower women, and strengthen their communities.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated, tenacious, persistent, passionate.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help hundreds of thousands more women in the US - and internationally - by building greater capacity in WBCs and sharing the WBC model.
