What I want to do

The Coalition of Advocates for Equal Access for Girls wants to ensure that girls receive equal access to all of the appropriate gender-responsive support and services they need to help them develop to their full potential.

What matters to me

What matters to the Coalition is that we support the adults who empower girls and we give girls a voice and a voice to girls' issues and needs.

What inspires me

We are inspired by every girl who possesses her own individual potential and when given the right opportunities can fulfill the promise of her unique strengths and abilities.

The National Crittenton Foundation
March 20, 2011

I have had the privilege of working with The National Crittenton Foundation's President for the past 3 years when we discovered the perfect match our two organization's mission and vision had for girls.
I am the President of a statewide advocacy organization in Oregon, the Coalition of Advocates for Equal Access for Girls, established in 1992, well over a 100 years after Crittenton. Besides the support that Crittenton provides the work of over 27 Crittenton agencies, it is their goal to support the empowerment of girls and young women so they can achieve their unique potential as healthy, contributing members of society that connects us. Our collaboration with Crittenton has helped our organization grow nationally and I believe has broadened their advocacy in Oregon.

The Great!

The Coalition's collaboration and partnership with Crittenton not only supports our advocacy work in Oregon but has enabled us to join a national action alliance, Girls @ the Margin, to be part of a strong united voice for vulnerable system involved girls and young women.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

No changes!
