Share Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer, Inc.
May 18, 2010
After a year or so of receiving their help, I became involved with SHARE's lobby program up in Albany, NY and in Washington DC. It was not just rewarding, but empowering to belong to SHARE! I was very happy to be able to give back for the sake of any who follow because I'd been helped. I don't currently volunteer, but it's an organization, a group of people I keep very close to my heart.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 53; luckly it was stage one/ treatment was successful. I'm now a 6th year survivor; very thankful to SHARE for their support. Thier newsletter at the Dr's off. brought me to them and I got the support needed.
