Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Climate change is one of THE most important issues of our time, trumping health care as there will be no need for health care if there is no planet. The mainstream media does an awful job at covering the topic, relegating it to the science pages, the business pages or relying on wire copy. That’s why we need Grist. Grist does an excellent job of making the complicated uncomplicated, doing that with humor and style, all while preserving journalistic integrity and providing information not found elsewhere.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They challenge the status quo, which often means going head to head with business *and* environmentalists in order to promote ideas that will make real progress.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

n/a

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

really influence the climate change debate in a positive way that would result in a win-win situation for the country.

Ways to make it better...

I could read grist.org by osmosis.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the behemoth mainstream media that drowns out important issues with car chases and missing people.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
