BLUE HORSE MUKWA EQUINE RETIREMENT AND RESCUE CENTER
November 26, 2012

Ever since I was a small child I wanted a horse but I knew I didn't know enough about caring for a horse to own one. Then Blue Horse Mukwa moved to Chase City, Va. My husband is a reporter and did a story on the rescue and said you need to meet this woman Rabiah. I quickly went out and met her and all the animals and she let me brush a horse on my first day. I was so excited !!! That was seven years ago and I have been out there most of the time . Rabiah was willing to teach me about horses, horseback riding, feeding, and training. Now thanks to her I have two amazing horses. So many dreams have been fullfilled at Blue Horse 4 legged and two legged. We help children there also and I have seen amazing results, One boy was going to kill himself and now he is happy, I have seen grades go from F's to A's. Bad attitudes change to good ones. People doing community service go from uncaring to showing love and compassion. I have seen animals that were starved and dehydrated go from skin and bones to beautiful and healthy. Everyone is welcomed there !!! The animals are well taken care of and loved. Blue Horse truly is a magical place. And I feel they should be # 1 on your list. Thanks again, Cheryl Weston

BLUE HORSE MUKWA EQUINE RETIREMENT AND RESCUE CENTER
March 4, 2010

I have volunteered at Blue Horse for over 4 years now. What a wonderful facility. I wanted to learn about horses for I have always loved them . Rabiah Seminole the owner and director of Blue horse was willing to teach me and to help anyone who needs help with their animals. Blue Horse is not your normal rescue. The Center is clean and pretty, the horses are all well cared for, Stalls are cleaned daily, fresh water for the animals daily more often if needed, vet care, fresh hay and grain twice a day , and every penny that goes to Blue Horse goes to the animals. Rabiah may do without sometimes but the animals never do. I will talk with anyone about the pride I have being associated with the facility and the knowledge I have learned from Rabiah is priceless. This Rescue is above r
