ALAMO ARTS BALLET THEATRE INC
February 22, 2010
Prior to my personal involvement with Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre, I had the privilege to know the Director, Choreographer, and several of the dancers. Their passion for ballet, unique choreography, and the community is what drew me to them. Their passion is contagious and my children now all want to be dancers when they grow up.
We all have a very deep desire to bring San Antonio new and innovated choreography, and to bring it to everyone in the community. From going into schools to give lecture demoes, giving free performances of our Spring and FAll programs to area schools and homeschools, to their unique performances that push the boundaries and stretch what we think of when we think of ballet.
I consider it an honor to be involved with such an awesome and passionate group of people.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My 12 year old son wants to become a professional dancer, due to the men he has seen dance with the company. My daughter wants to be one of the dancers. It isn't just the amazing dancing they want to immolate but the character they see in the dancers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The humility and passion that everyone has. Their desire is simply to dance and bring everyone unique choreography. They want everyone to know what an amazing art form ballet and all dance is, and how much art enriches the lives of all it touches.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
