Review for The Center for Contemporary Dance Inc, Winter Park, FL, USA
We look for greatness in big ways, but sometimes the true greatness happens on a smaller personal, community level. This greatness may not come with headlines and breaking news bulletins. This greatness does come with hard work, faith and the true desire to inspire positive change. That is what CCD is all about. Small, beautiful, steps full of grace that touch lives in big and small ways. Dario Moore and Craig Johnson touch souls and open hearts to the true possibility of good in the human condition because CCD I, your vision, commitment and CCD. To have thrived in this challenging social and economic climate is a testament to all that CCD is doing right.
It has been my good fortune to know about CCD and the great work that has been done by this organization over the last 10 year. I'm looking foward to the amazing possibilites that will be realized in the next 10 years.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I've had the great pleasure of working with the company as a professional visual artist and as an art educator. I've seen first hand how this organization embraces the community to bring dance and arts to everyone -- especially at-risk and underserved youth.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Give them sufficient funds so they could fully implement all of their programs.
Review for The Center for Contemporary Dance Inc, Winter Park, FL, USA
I have been a supporter of The Center for Contemporary Dance for the last six years by volunteering at performances, assisting with costumes, teaching art classes at the Center, and sharing the Center’s mission and philosophy with others. The Center for Contemporary Dance has one of the most successful, innovative, and committed dance and community outreach arts programs in our region. The focus of all their programs is transformation, inclusiveness, and collaboration. Mr. Moore and Mr. Johnson actively seek out and encourage artists from all the arts to connect with a wide array of community organizations to develop the incredible potential the arts have to empower, unite and restore communities and individuals. The Center for Contemporary Dance believes that the arts can change people, the community, and the world. Dario Moore and Craig Johnson’s passion and commitment to this philosophy can be seen at every rehearsal, performance, or casual meeting. Creativity is the process of transformation and The Center for Contemporary Dance is a haven where people from all disciplines can join together to be part of that process -- and as Dario Moore has said, “have a profound and positive impact on the on the world in which they live.”
