My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Kingman Old Timers Chat-N-Chow, Kingman, AZ, USA
The senior center is much better off now that Sherry White left. Too bad they tricked people into letting them take the $72,000 that was being saved for a future senior center building. I hope someone does something about it.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The senior center is much more friendly now that we have a new site supervisor and that Sherry White is no longer representing us.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Most of the people at the senior center are really nice.
Ways to make it better...
We had all been better informed of what they planned to do including taking all of the building funds that were saved by previous boards for a new building. Now we have nothing.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Surviving in our small city when so many of us have told others of how they took all of our building money. They told seniors they were going to build a bigger and better thrift store to help us. What they did was take $72,0000 and given nothing.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Will someone, preferrably an attorney step in and help the seniors get the money back they saved for many years.
