Review for Military Warriors Support Foundation, San Antonio, TX, USA

Rating: 2 stars

The problem with these organiztions is that is all about the story you have to tell. If you do not have a purple heart then forget it. PTSD alone will get you nothing the majority of the time. They need good stories in order to lure bigger donations for people. They will never admit that and you will many a story saying this is not true but it is. Case in point, houses seem to go fast while others linger forever. This is because they are waiting for the best story. If you do not have a purple heart do not waste your time. This comes from an insider who told me what really goes on.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Just be honest and tell people what it is you really want to quailfy.

We sincerely apologize for any issues you may have faced in the vetting process of the Homes4WoundedHeroes Program. As this is addressed in a few other reviews of the same matter, PTSD and TBI are eligible for the Homes4WoundedHeroes Program, so long as the injuries are found to have been the result of combat action, hence the search for proper documentation, as not all PTSD or TBI injuries fall under that category. I hope this answers to your concern. We ask that you feel strongly towards the thorough vetting process as it is in place to ensure that we are adhering to our program guidelines and eligibility requirements. We do want to Thank You for your feedback as this is allowing us to further adapt our vetting and evaluation processes.
