Review for Opus Bono Sacerdotii, Oxford, MI, USA
I have helped three priests -- all eventually proved innocent -- through the emotionally traumatic experience of false accusation. The information from Opus Bono Sacerdotii (not only online and in literature but also through direct communication with the president and staff) provided the kind of guidance needed to help each of the priests both in terms of actions to be taken and in a sense of confidence and security knowing that help, if needed, was just around the corner. Although this particular help turned out not to be necessary, Opus Bono Sacerdotii was willing to assist in unique ways, such as being open to accepting marked donations from those not willing to have their names known locally. Although this direct help turned out not to be needed, knowing that it was available helped tremendously on an emotional level and had a needed calming effect.
I donate, as I can, to Opus Bono Sacerdotii because I personally know the good work they do and the deep need for it.
Review for Opus Bono Sacerdotii, Oxford, MI, USA
This charity has been willing to come to the rescue of two groups of people, with whom I am associated, that needed a way to help its priests without going directly through the diocese, which was establishing barriers between parishioners and priests. In one case, the situation was resolved without the need of help. The second is ongoing and help has been needed in getting donations to the right places. The work that the team at Opus Bono Sacerdotii does is God's work. Those served almost never have any other resource, including emotional support. They are saving priests, one at a time, and in a loving, supportive, non-jdugmental way that has no parallel as far as I know anywhere.
