Review for Heritage Retreats Inc dba University Heritage Society, Clifton, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Heritage Retreats is one of the most unique and innovative programs for connecting young Jews to their heritage. It provides the ultimate "Learn hard, Play hard" experience by combining great outdoor activities with engaging lectures and group learning. People who never met feel like brothers after a week at Heritage Retreats, and when they leave, they not only bring new friends with them, but a whole new relationship with Judaism and religion in general.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I''ve seen so many participants go back home and get more involved in their Judaism, their communities, their soul!

Review for Partners in Torah, Passaic, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Partners in Torah is an incredible force in the lives of tens of thousands of Jews nationwide. Their flagship program consists of linking people from divers backgrounds and geographic location for a once a week, one hour phone conversation focused on topics pertaining to their Jewish heritage, culture, and history. For many of the partners it is their only connection with their Judaism, and it fills their lives with meaning and growth. They also provide excellent reading materials to help people reflect on pertinent Jewish issues, and they run face-to-face partnership programs in many cities. I myself learn with a partner every week, and besides developing a very close relationship with someone I probably would otherwise have nothing to do with, it is one of the highlights of my week, and a source of great inspiration!

develop larger national campaigns, get more staff to do follow up, do local programs throughout the country
