I found Beautys Haven Equine Rescue one day on Facebook. They had rescued a near death pony they named Betsy Rose and she stole my heart, along with hundreds of others!! Through excellent daily updates and pictures I prayed and watched this pony grow stronger and start to gain weight. Betsy Rose was in such bad shape she couldn't even lift her tail to poop!! She spent the first month and a half in a sling but as she grew stronger she was able to take short walks steadily growing stronger. Theresa, owner of Beautys Haven, and all of the volunteers are GREAT with the horses, caring, grooming and just loving them! I "like" a lot of rescues on Facebook and none of them seem to measure up to Beautys Haven. They are truly BLESSED by GOD!!
