Review for REDMOND COMMUNITY CHILD CARE, Redmond, OR, USA
It was hard to decide which "role" to choose from in the drop-down menu. I have been in each of the roles, from client served to donor to volunteer. This is a non-profit child care center that has pulled at my heart strings for many years. The teachers have been wonderful to my children, who each entered Kindergarten with the appropriate social, math and reading skills. As of 2012 the center consists of two buildings: one for the infants and toddlers and the second for preschool, Kindercare, and after-school programs for elementary school children. During the summer kids can walk easily to the Cascade Swim Center and public parks, or just stay in the center's playground and garden. Budgets are always tight because volunteer board members have always written grants and organized annual fundraising dinner & auction, but the center has always scraped by and managed to plan fun and educational things to do with the kids.
