I have participated in Bowling for Boobies for four years with a competing team. I was awestruck and humbled with the first experience, which is why I keep returning. Making a difference in women's lives right here in Los Angeles is an unmatched experience. Knowing that this isn't a giant organization where money mostly goes to administrative costs makes it even better. I always leave every year feeling like I did something meaningful for women. It's the gift of dignity in a very horrible time. It's love. And that is why I will keep going back. One day, that woman might be me.
