Do Good Lab is a unique non-profit. It is a wonderful place to get your hands dirty in learning about international development. Anyone can come into this organization and make an impact. It doesn't take months or years of training and red tape. Also, the philosophy of this organization is one that dignifies those it helps. My experience with the wonderful people in DGL, though far from perfect, has been very positive overall.

Although I am not at all aware of the inner-workings of this nonprofit, I am impressed by the way they help people with addictions and / or a criminal background integrate back into society in a positive way. The Delancey Street Restaurant and Crossroads Cafe are both fantastic interfaces for the public to experience this nonprofit and its people.
