Review for Veterans Green Jobs, Denver, CO, USA
This organization has suffered from disorganization, poor leadership, mis-allocating funds, discrimination and misleading the public. I have no doubt Veterans Green Jobs will fail, and it's too bad as the mission is an important one. However, putting any money into this organization is equivalent to throwing your money in the trash. Seek out other organizations helping military veterans, there are many.

Thank you for your post about Veterans Green Jobs. As a nonprofit, we’re dedicated to serving veterans, ensuring responsible use of funds, and maximizing our limited resources at all times. As with many young nonprofit organizations, we’ve experienced growing pains as well as setbacks as we work to build an infrastructure that helps us achieve our mission. Together with the help of our board and staff, and the cooperation of our partners, we are earnestly working to meet our goal of placing veterans into meaningful career paths; internally, all hands are on deck to make this happen for at least 300 veterans by mid next year. Veterans Green Jobs is dedicated to transparency in all that we do and we receive an independent financial audit each year. Our annual reports and 990s are open to the public and we would be happy to provide copies to anyone in the the public or funding community that may have concerns.
