Review for Kids With Food Allergies, Fountainville, PA, USA
KFA was a lifesaver for me when I began my allergy journey. The ability to talk to other moms who had BTDT (been there done that) was such a relief. The tips and tricks you learn living this life (how do you handle Trick or Treat, school birthday treats, etc) don't have to be made up on the fly - you have so many willing to share what has worked for them. I still regularly use recipes I've gotten off the site - far more than any cookbooks I've purchased.
They are especially helpful when dealing with multiple food allergies. At one point my son could only eat three foods, but with the help of the site I was able to make him muffins.
KFA was invaluable in shortening the learning curve and helping me to be successful in navigating this food allergy journey.

After realizing my family diet needed to change due to food intolerances, I stumbled along on my own for a while. When I finally joined Kids With Food Allergies website, I couldn't believe all the opportunities I'd been missing! I can't imagine my life without KFA for the last 5 years. Even though I now consider myself an "expert" on allergies, I'm still learning new tips and ideas from cooking to dealing with school parties and more. The other members are very encouraging and helpful - and more knowledgeable than many doctors in the real-life issues that food allergies create. If you or anyone in your life suffers from food allergies or intolerances, you should definitely visit this site.
