I moved to the Yorkville area seven years ago. I had previously volunteered at a food pantry and wanted to continue volunteering in my new community. I have been volunteering at the Kendall County Food Pantry for about three years. I am awed by the amount of food, clothing and miscellaneous items that are distributed to individuals and families that are struggling to make ends meet.
