I have watched the Baldwin Center grow to a non-profit organization that is serving the entire Pontiac community. It always amazes me when I see the extent the staff will go to to assist the clients. They have showers for the homeless, washers & dryers for clients to use. The Baldwin Center is there for those in need, whether it’s the clothes closet, or kids after school program, or assisting the abused or finding jobs and housing, etc. The Baldwin Center has activity from early morn until dusk.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my compassion for those less fortunate than me.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
get the word out to donors so assistance would be available to more clients.
Would you volunteer for this group again?
For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
What one change could this group make that would improve your volunteer experience?
Cannot think of anything as this experience is quite rewarding to me.
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
I have met a lot of very fine people and my new skill is knowing my way in a kitchen and now can prepare and cook meals!
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
