My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation Inc, Saratoga, CA, USA
I saw Buddy on Petfinder while looking for a rescue for my daughter. Buddy is special needs and was available through IG Rescue in Dallas, Tx. I fell in love with him on first sight. I visited Buddy at his home with his foster parents who were very attentive. Knowing Buddy's puppy mill background and previous condition, I could tell he was well nurtured to prepare him for a forever home. They brought him to my home for a home visit and to see Buddy with his new sisters. They got along great and he is now a permanent member of my pack. IGRF is a great rescue service.
Review for Texas Italian Greyhound Rescue Inc, Flower Mound, TX, USA
After my little Sadie passed away, I noticed that my IG mix was really lonely during the day while I was at work. I was also ready for another addition to the family. The first IG I was interested in at TIGR, I was told, was not a good fit for my lifestyle (working mom). Disappointed, I talked to one of the foster Moms about my household and she came to my home for a visit. This foster Mom suggested the perfect Iggy for me. I adopted Lizzie in April 2011 and she has been the perfect sister for Dottie and perfect companion for me. The volunteers at TIGR love and understand their fosters enough to know what is best for them and place them in their perfect forever home. I am very lucky to have found Lizzie, and I wouldn't have found her if it weren't for the great people of TIGR.
