HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS
October 31, 2011
I have volunteered for a few initiatives that Hope for the Warriors has spearheaded to bring assistance to severly injured service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. One specific initiative involved a quadruple amputee from Staten Island, Brendan Morocco. Hope for the Warriors teamed up with the Stephen Siller Foundation, the FDNY and a few other organizations to furnish a home for this dedicated hero. Hope for the Warriors worked tirelessly to leverage relationships that yielded donations of products and services to provide Brendan with an adapted environment that could aid in his recovery. H4W's efforts were truly incredible and executed with tremendous professionalism.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
achieving the goal of raising enough money to furnish a home for Brendan Morocco.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
add additional personel to supplement the existing staff, who work tirelessly on behalf of the wounded community they serve.
Volunteer & Volunteered to organize a fundraising event for Brendan Morocco.
