My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Branches Of The Vine, Charlotte, NC, USA
My involvement with Branches of the Vine is through members of my church who have participated in short term missions to Ghana with BOV over the last 10+ years. The work accomplished by BOV is extremely significant for the poorest of the poor where they minister. Their ministry is for the physical (water, medical, dental), spiritual (healing, prayer, prisons) and educational (building schools, books). BOV has a wonderful track record of consistency and completing the missions that they take on. Accountability is strong in terms of requiring reporting of money spent and the involvement of the Anglican diocese of Accra on the board and in the field gives BOV in country participation and guidance. BOV is a wonderful example of different cultures coming together to solve problems and raise up both the givers and the receivers.
