With no prior experience or very much knowledge within the homelessness law area, as an intern for the NLCHP I was able to experience firsthand the dedication that highly qualified professionals and volunteers put in to helping the homeless. As I worked on each part of the website and got to know each member of the law center a little better, I was taken back by the qualifications of each member and humbled by what they chose to do with their current careers. As a non-profit, the NLCHP stays organized an upbeat in order to get their word out.
