I worked with AAI in the summer of 2011. The president, Mr. Santoli, is energetic, passionate, and wonderful to work with. The organization does not operate on a very large budget, but it manages to accomplish a great deal across a host of issues. One can only imagine how effective they could be with just a little more money.

Seeing the results of AAI's cancer programs. I was involved with shipping medicine to children and women with cancer, and the volunteers operating in the Philippines would always send back tons of pictures.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Continue to raise the funds necessary for AAI to achieve their wonderful mission of peace building though addressing the basic human needs of communities in areas of dire poverty and armed conflict.
