In my experience as a volunteer with the North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center (NCTRC) I’ve volunteered as a horse leader for classes, and been trained and certified as a Special Olympics Equestrian Coach.

NCTRC makes miracles happen. I have seen children and adults with traumatic brain injury, blindness, mobility problems, and mental illness; improve balance, strength, relaxation, speech, social skills, and confidence. It's just amazing!
