Review for Glen Eden Youth Center Inc, Winchester, KY, USA
Spent weeks at this Youth Center as a child and teenager. Now I help to maintain the buildings and grounds as a volunteer and board member to continue to make the center available to other youth that want to attend. Many young people have accepted Christ into their lives because of the opportunity given them to attend camps at the Glen Eden Youth Center.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The great difference it makes in young people's lives.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Continue the work that has been done in the past and continue to improve the facility as funds become available. A large number of regular donators to Glen Eden have gone to Heaven and are sorely missed.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The overall experience of enjoying nature and being in touch with God in his beautiful world, and the joy the children receive by experiencing the camp.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Caring, kind, giving and truely glad to be doing the work of the Lord by providing the camp.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Soar like an eagle. Funds are the limiting factor as to what gets accomplished in this area of Kentucky.
Ways to make it better...
The Glen Eden Youth Center would have had the funds to hold more camps to influence more youth to be productive in the Lord's work.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The distance from where we live to the camp is the greatest challege in the upkeep of buildings and grounds. This also contributes to security of those building and grounds.
One thing I'd also say is that...
We have a lot of problems in the United States. War, Drugs, Economy, Unemployment, etc. but the greatest problem is in our youth. They need the teachings of Jesus and the guidance to make the right decisions with their lives because they are the FUTURE of our country.
