TYLER TYPE 1 DIABETES FOUNDATION
June 13, 2011
Since my mother contracted Type 1 diabetes with adult on-set of juvenile diabetes and passed away in her early sixties, I have remained aware & sensitive to insulin-dependant people of all ages. After hearing about Tyler Type 1 Foundation, I educated myself in what they do to educate and assist the parents, family members and care-givers of those just discovering they have this awful disease. I am excited and encouraged to see hope being given to the hopeless and fears being greatly reduced through Tyler Type 1 members giving a special 'touch' of hope through education and regular support meetings
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
being blessed to see the faces of recipients of the free Medic Alert bracelets!
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
see if the Chamber of Commerce would allow word to be sent via email or snail-mail about Tyler Type One such as a short explanation of its purpose and benefits to the community.
Donor & I donate Medic Alert bracelets to new members through my business.
