My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Dfw Pug Rescue Club Inc, Grapevine, TX, USA
I foster for DFW Pug Rescue and love this organization! They really do rescue the right way; they take all pugs regardless of age or condition, they get them the appropriate veterinary care, and thoroughly investigate the homes to which they are adopted.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the day in and day out operations and dedicated volunteer activities.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
increase its visibility to potential donors through non-profit and public relations marketing. I would also develop enhancement and retention programs for foster volunteers.
Would you volunteer for this group again?
For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
What one change could this group make that would improve your volunteer experience?
They could develop and maintain a feedback system for volunteers that also recognizes their time and dedication.
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
I have had the heartwarming experience of providing a home for pugs who are too ill to be placed in adoptive homes.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Fulfilled and enriched.
