SEDS provided an outlet for both my love of space and a means to get my hands dirty on many projects that ultimately gave me the experience to launch my post-college career. I still enjoy helping out the local SEDS chapter and keeping touch with the many friends I made while active with SEDS.

SEDS is a great organization that has existed for 30 years before finally turning non-profit due to the work of a few of its most dedicated students and supporters. SEDS supports a ton of different outreach activities and contests for college, high-school, and elementry students. I think that every dollar donated to SEDS will help improve the learning experience for students inside and outside of the group and provide benefits for science and technology education in the USA.

The recognition the organization has started to receive from NASA and government organizations besides the many space industry companies that already recognized the group.
